At Hopkins Architecture, we do things differently. Our design process drives beyond standard practice to a deeper connection with people and place, leading to more sustainable and liveable solutions. From our office in Vail, Colorado, we have designed custom residences, libraries, commercial, and civic buildings throughout the western United States.

Owner's Design Representative
Acting as design consultants for the client, we guide the architectural process from pre-RFQ to completion. We set a design vision founded on the studied user needs and the site constraints. With this vision, we work with the client to create a better design brief and program, hire and inspire the architects, and see the design vision through even the difficult later phases.

Ground Design Lab
Ground Design Lab is a new kind of interdisciplinary design group combining ecological field science with anthropological-based design research to direct architecture. Informed design is the key to our process. By grounding design in solid science and observation, we direct designs better respect the site and better serve the people who use our spaces.
